I ask this...

So what would you do if you saw this in your window ledge amidst a HUMONGO web?
Next... what would you do if you saw 30 to 50 of these cute Brown widow eggsacs on your porch and in between your double hurricane windows?
And lastly... what would you do if you saw these hatch into these little fellows in those same double windows right before your very eyes?

Honestly... I almost peed my pants, and then went to get Chris to kill them... quickly!

oh Eliza!

Whoa, I'd be getting some serious extermination power ASAP. I almost can't even look at those pictures. What type of spider is that exactly, did you say 'brown widow' as opposed to a black widow?

May the force be with you, and luckily you have Chris around! Just don't watch arachnaphobia anytime soon! Love ya, and hopefully you're doing well minus the spider thing.

I feel like running away in horror from my computer screen (from Rachel).

The first picture is of the South Carolina garden spider. Luckily we only have had one of those but the picture doesn't do it justice, it's probably as big as a fist or even a full hand... for reals!

and yes, I never heard of brown widows until we got here in the South. I thought they were harmless but apparently from what I've read they're more poisonous then black widows... ewww.

P.S. We are doing well, Thanks Anny! and Rachel, I feel like running away from my house :D Good thing we get to for Christmas! YAY!

Oh my freakin' goodness. I thought you were joking and got pictures from online... but that is some serious spider trauma! Good luck with that. I don't think I would be ever able to sleep the same again. Eliza, they know where you sleep! :)
